GRIEVANCE POLICY

  1. Purpose

This policy provides a structured method for raising concerns related to programs, staff conduct, administrative issues or policy application.

  1. Informal Resolution

Where appropriate, individuals are encouraged to attempt resolution directly with the involved party or program coordinator.

  1. Formal Grievance

If informal resolution is not appropriate or unsuccessful, a formal written grievance may be submitted to:

The grievance should include:

• Full name and contact details
• Description of the issue
• Date and location
• Steps already taken
• Desired resolution

  1. Review Process

Upon receipt:

• A preliminary review will occur
• Relevant parties may be contacted
• A written decision will be issued

  1. Timeline

Grievances should be submitted within ninety days of the incident unless exceptional circumstances apply.

  1. Final Decision

The Board or designated authority will issue a final decision. Decisions are binding unless procedural error is demonstrated.
